Can a baby product be designed from a single material to optimise circularity?
amb is an integral baby-care design that prioritises sustainability from the start. Its core proposal: use a single material for every part, simplifying recycling and end-of-life transformation.
This reduces friction in recycling, with no incompatible polymer mixes, and applies sustainable-design principles to everyday infant objects, without giving up ergonomics and safety.

Against multi-component baby products that are hard to recycle, amb proposes material simplicity as a strategy for real sustainability: less mixing, more circularity.
Designing for the beginning of life is a responsibility: amb reminded me that material simplicity is a powerful form of applied ethics.
